Precooked, Collagen Casing Link Latest Addition to Extensive Foodservice Product Line

 

FORT ATKINSON, Wis. (February 9, 2010) -- Although best known for all natural pork sausage, Jones Dairy Farm has announced the introduction of an 8 ounce All Natural Precooked Turkey Sausage Link in a collagen casing to its foodservice product line, said Philip Jones, president.   The Company now offers four precooked turkey sausage links and patties, and boasts a total of more than 40 varieties of precooked and uncooked sausage to foodservice professionals.

 

Jones Dairy Farm has applied all of their best secrets from more than 120 years of business to make turkey breakfast sausage with pure, natural flavor.  Made from an all natural recipe that never includes mechanically separated turkey meat, Jones turkey sausage contains no MSG, nitrites or nitrates, and has 0 grams of trans fat per serving.  

 

According to Mr. Jones, the addition of a turkey sausage link in a collagen casing provides foodservice customers with a product perfect for a more upscale presentation because of its higher perceived quality.  Collagen casing links are also known to hold up well and retain juices throughout the cooking process.  In addition to the new 8 ounce collagen casing link, Jones also offers foodservice professionals three turkey sausage varieties including a .67 ounce skinless link and a 1.35 ounce and 1.4 ounce patty.  All Jones turkey sausage links and patties are fully-cooked and certified gluten-free by The Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO).
