How does a company survive over 120 years? By delivering flavor and quality, consistently. The two go hand in hand, and the Jones family has made commitment to great taste a family tradition. And when it comes to bacon, it shows. The mild cure the family has used for over 100 years gives every slice a wonderful rich flavor. Starting with lean, hand-selected pork bellies helps, and then our bacon is slow-smoked using real hardwood logs, never liquid smoke. Finally, we air-chill our bacon before it’s pressed and sliced, making for a more pure, less salty flavor.
Quality
We start with small pork bellies so our bacon is leaner and offers better yield than competitors’ products. And we keep the batch sizes small so that each belly receives more individual care. These extra measures make a difference that is visible in the consistency from slice to slice. We don’t have lacing, where muscle and fat separate. Our careful cutting prevents hooks. The end result is bacon that looks as great as it tastes. That sends a message to your guests the second they see their plate.
