Lance
Nitahara: Lance realized cooking could actually become a career
when he broke and fixed his first hollandaise sauce. He will graduate from the
CIA with a fistful of professional certifications including that of a Certified
Pastry Culinarian, Certified Chef De Cuisine/PCII and the prestigious Certified
Executive Chef, a designation he recently earned from the American Culinary
Federation after a rigorous four-day testing process. Born in Wahiawa, Hawaii,
Lance has an entrepreneurial spirit that he says he inherited from his father.
