Place slices in a flat baking pan and bake without turning for 10 to 15 minutes at 350°F. Drain on absorbent paper.
Place layer of paper towels in a shallow microwaveable dish. Lay bacon strips on towels and cover with another layer of towels to prevent spattering. Set microwave on Medium (NOT HIGH) to achieve best results.
Since microwaves tend to vary in power, these instructions are a good working guide and can be modified to suit the individual consumer's oven or cooking preference. It is recommented that no more than 8 slices be cooked at any one time. NOTE: Rotate bacon dish 1/2 turn halfway through the cook cycle.
2 slices cook about 3 minutes
4 slices cook about 5-1/2 minutes
6 slices cook about 8 minutes
8 slices cook about 10 minutes
Fry over low heat, turning frequently until done to taste. Drain on absorbent paper.
