We care about tradition at Jones, which is why we don’t mess with our family recipes by adding artificial ingredients. Our Whole Old-Fashioned Hickory Smoked Hams are no exception. After being brined with premium ingredients like sweet clover, honey granules and the finest brown sugar for 45 days, they're smoked with real hickory chips in our smokehouse. The final step: wrapping each and every ham by hand.

Bake smoked ham in a covered roaster 18 to 20 minutes to the pound at 325°F to 350°F, or to an internal temperature of 150°F. Remove skin.

For a flavorful smoked ham finish, score fat and insert whole cloves at intersections. Brush ham with brown sugar glaze (2/3 cup brown sugar + 1/4 cup apple cider) if desired. Bake uncovered for remaining 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold. If a milder ham is desired, soak 4 to 8 hours in cold water before cooking.
