Jalapeño Popper Stuffed French Toast

French toast is crusted in crispy bacon and stuffed with cream cheese, cheddar and jalapeños for a decadently spicy start to your day.

Dry Aged Cherrywood Smoked Bacon Slices

ingredients
2 ounces cream cheese
4 slices hearty sandwich bread
2 slices cheddar cheese​
2 tablespoons fresh jalapeño slices
2 tablespoons Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon, cooked and chopped
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon butter
 4 slices Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon, partially cooked
DIRECTIONS
Spread cream cheese evenly on all four slices of bread. Place one slice of cheddar cheese on two bread slices. Top with jalapeño slices and chopped bacon. Cover with additional slices of bread (cream cheese side down) and press firmly.

Beat eggs and milk in medium bowl.

Heat butter in medium sauté pan until melted. Place two strips of bacon criss-crossed on the bottom of pan.

Dip sandwich into egg mixture, turning to cover both sides. Place dipped sandwich on top of bacon and fold bacon up sides. Cook for about three minutes on medium heat, or until golden brown. Carefully flip French toast and tuck bacon underneath. Cook for about three minutes more or until golden brown and cooked through. Serve hot.
