Packed with protein and many of your breakfast favorites, these bite-size sausage sliders are an easy treat for your next tailgate or brunch.


 Enjoy these main ingredient substitutions:

All Natural Golden Brown® Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties

ingredients

12 Jones Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Golden Brown Chicken or Turkey Sausage Patties
6 slices cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
6 large eggs
3 tablespoons milk
3 cups arugula
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 lemon, juiced
12 slider buns
Salt and pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS

Brown sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat. Remove and place two quarters of the sliced cheddar on top of each patty. Set aside.

Beat together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Spray a 9x13 pan well with cooking spray. Bake in a 350 ˚F oven until eggs are set, approximately 8-12 minutes.  To remove, invert pan. Slice into 12 equal sized pieces and set aside. 

Dress the greens by placing the arugula in a large bowl and tossing with olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice. 

Assembly: Layer sausage/cheese, egg on the bottom half of each bun, top with a portion of arugula and place the top of the bun on each sandwich.
