Think egg roll, but with puff pastry, oozing cheese and all-natural pork sausage. We’d recommend making extras—these will go fast. 


 Enjoy these main ingredient substitutions:

1 package puff pastry sheets, thawed
1 (12 oz) Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Pork Sausage Roll
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
1 1/2 cups pepper jack cheese, shredded
1 (4 oz) can chopped green chilies
 
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400˚F.

In large skillet brown sausage until fully cooked. Drain.

In large bowl mix together cooked sausage, cream cheese, pepper jack cheese and green chilies. Stir until well blended.  

Unfold puff pastry sheets and gently roll out until about 1 inch larger than original sheets. Cut sheets in 3 strips (about where the folds were); cut each in half to create 6 squares from each sheet. Cut each square in half again to make a total of 24 squares.  

Fill each square with 1-2 tablespoons of sausage mixture. Roll puff pastry around sausage mixture, pinching all edges to seal. Place on lined baking sheet; bake for 15 minutes, until puffed and golden brown. Remove from oven and serve.
