2 slices sourdough bread
1 teaspoon sweet hot mustard
2 slices muenster cheese
2 slices Jones Dairy Farm Canadian Bacon
4 thin apple slices
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons low fat milk
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 tablespoons maple syrup
Fresh mint sprigs, optional
Spread mustard evenly over one slice of bread.
Top with 1 slice of cheese, Canadian Bacon, apple, second slice of cheese, and second slice of bread.
In a shallow baking pan, combine eggs and milk.
Dip sandwich into egg mixture; allow to soak for 2 minutes; repeat other side.
In a heavy skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Grill sandwich for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Drizzle with maple syrup, sprinkle with confectioners sugar, and garnish with mint.
