These treats are an easy-to-make dessert, but also work as a snack. Either way, watch out. They are addicting.

Dry Aged Hickory Smoked Bacon Slices

ingredients
10 slices Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 (24 oz) package chocolate candy coating, melted in a bowl
1 (12 oz) bag pretzel rods
DIRECTIONS
Prepare bacon according to package directions.Once bacon is fully cooked but still hot, brush both sides of each bacon strip with maple syrup. Place bacon on wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, place bacon in bowl of food processor and process until bacon is chopped into large pieces.

Line baking sheet or flat work surface with wax paper. Place chocolate coating in microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds increments until chocolate is melted and smooth.

Dip each pretzel rod in melted chocolate and, using a spoon or knife, cover 2/3 of rod with chocolate. Place chocolate covered pretzel rod on parchment or wax paper and let cool 2 minutes, then sprinkle with maple bacon crumbs. Repeat until all pretzel rods are coated. Let chocolate cool completely and store in airtight container.
