4 slices Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
40 large marshmallows
1/4 cup unsalted peanuts, chopped (optional)
5 cups puffed rice cereal
Line 9"x13" pan with parchment paper; grease paper with butter or nonstick cooking spray.
In medium skillet, fry bacon over low heat, turning frequently, until crisp; about 5 minutes. Reserve 2 tablespoons bacon grease. Remove bacon to paper towel-covered plate to cool; crumble.
In large saucepan, melt butter and reserved bacon grease over medium heat. Add maple syrup and marshmallows. Cook, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted. Immediately stir in crumbled bacon, peanuts and cereal. Immediately press mixture into prepared pan.
Let bars cool completely; cut into 24 squares.
