1 (5 oz) package Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Golden Brown Turkey Sausage Links, thawed and chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, diced
2 stalks celery, diced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 (15 oz) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
4 cups chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley
1 cup whole wheat pasta shells, cooked
Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
In large soup pot or Dutch oven, brown sausage over medium heat. Drain fat, leaving 1 tbsp in pan.

Add onions, carrots, and celery. Cook for about 10 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.

Add beans, tomatoes, basil and chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.

Before serving, add parsley.

To serve, divide cooked pasta shells evenly among 6 bowls. Ladle soup over pasta and add parmesan cheese.
