Prepare these savory, grab-and-go biscuit sandwiches the night before to make busy mornings just a little easier.


 Enjoy these main ingredient substitutions:

3 tablespoons cream cheese
4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 cup + 1 tablespoon milk, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups baking mix
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, optional
2 (5 oz) packages Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Golden Brown® Sausage Patties, thawed
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400˚F.

In mixing bowl, stir together cream cheese, shredded cheddar, 1 tablespoon milk and salt; set aside. In separate mixing bowl, combine baking mix and 2/3 cup milk.

Turn biscuit mixture onto surface sprinkled with additional baking mix. Knead a few times then roll out to large rectangle between 1/4- and 1/2-inch thick. Along one of the long edges, place as many sausage patties as will fit one inch apart and one inch from edge. Top with heaping tablespoon of cheese mixture, spreading out to evenly cover sausage patty.

Fold dough, bringing long edges together. Press around each patty to seal dough. Cut out biscuits with patties sealed inside using round biscuit cutter or cookie cutter. Collect trimmings, roll out and repeat until dough is gone.

Bake at 400˚F until lightly browned and enjoy!
