Ham Quiche
You will need:
1 Jones ham steak, cut into strips
1/2 Cup red bell pepper strips
1/2 Cup chopped asparagus
1/3 Cup sliced leek
1 Cup shredded Swiss cheese
2 Tablespoon flour
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 21/64 Cup half & half or whipping cream
1 unbaked pie crust fitted into a 9-inch pie plate
Directions:
Combine ham, pepper, asparagus, leek, cheese and flour; toss lightly.
Transfer ham mixture to prepared pie crust.
Gently mix half & half and eggs.
Pour egg mixture over ham mixture.
Bake 10 minutes at 425°F; reduce heat to 325°F.
Continue baking 20 minutes or until done.
Makes 8 servings.
