Creamy Ham and Broccoli Soup

cooked and drained broccoli, cut into small chunks2 Quart32 ounce
butter or margarine1 Cup8 ounce
onions, chopped1 Cup4 ounce
flour1 Cup4 ounce
milk3 Quart96 ounce
Salt to taste 0
Directions:
Saute onion in butter in saucepot on medium-high heat about 5 minutes or until tender. Blend in flour. Gradually stir in milk until smooth. Cook and stir on medium heat until thickened. Boil and stir in 1 minute. Stir in ham and broccoli. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to use. Reheat and serve.

Makes 12 servings.
