Caribbean Ham Skewers

You will need:
2 Jones ham steaks
1 1/2 Cup cubed fresh pineapple (1-inch chunks)
1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted and cut into 1-inch chunks
1/4 Cup apricot or peach preserves
2 Tablespoon pickapeppa sauce*

Directions:
Prepare grill or broiler. Cut ham steaks into 1-1/4-inch pieces. Alternately thread ham, pineapple and mango onto metal skewers. Combine preserves and pickapeppa sauce. Brush half of mixture over one side of ham steaks. Grill (preserve sides up) over medium coals or broil 4 to 5 inches from heat source for 4 minutes. Turn; brush remaining preserve mixture over ham steaks. Continue grilling or broiling 4 minutes or until ham is hot. Tip: Pickapeppa sauce is a spicy Jamaican sauce available in the condiment section of the supermarket. If it is not available, substitute 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauces and 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
