Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for 135 years, is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated customer-focused individual that can demonstrate organization and attention to detail to make an impact on our growing organization.

Position Summary:

Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional and profitable relationships with customers and brokers and maintaining internal and external customer service goals.  Must have excellent communication, organizational, time management, problem solving skills, effective phone and intrapersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely customer order entry.
• Maintains EDI Tru Commerce with IT assistance.
• Manages offsite consigned warehouse inventory FIFO.
• Reports shortages and processes allocations per items as needed
• Maintains positive and professional demeanor to ensure external and internal customer satisfaction.
• Performs switchboard and receptionist duties in a professional and tactful manner.
• Perform miscellaneous clerical backup for absences of Administrative Assistant, Purchasing Assistant and Receptionist.
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of high school diploma or GED
• Experience or Training: 3 years of previous customer service experience. Must have excellent communication, organizational, time management, problem solving skills, effective phone, and intrapersonal skills.
• Technology/Equipment: Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in MS office (Work, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technology/Equipment: Experience with an ERP System.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Manual dexterity to operate all office equipment efficiently
• Visual dexterity to operate all office equipment efficiently
• Clear speaking voice
• Walking
• Standing
• Sitting
• Lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Exposure to hot, cold, damp and noisy environments
