Whole wheat pancakes are studded with dry aged Jones bacon and skewered with a wooden popsicle stick for a portable, playful take on a breakfast favorite.

This recipe is made with Jones Dry Aged Bacon.

8 oz CW Bacon
ingredients
1 cup white whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons butter, melted​
1/2 cup Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon, cooked crisp and diced
Wooden popsicle sticks
DIRECTIONS
Heat griddle over medium heat.

In large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.

In medium bowl whisk together egg, milk, maple syrup and melted butter. Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir to combine.

Add 1/4 cup batter to griddle and sprinkle top with bacon. Lay stick into bottom of pancake pressing it into batter so it gets covered. Cook until underside is browned, flip and continue cooking until golden. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve with maple syrup.
