Carrot cake muffins make the perfect buns for these sweet and savory breakfast sliders. Fill with slightly-sweetened cream cheese, bacon and sausage.

This recipe is made with Jones Golden Brown® Maple Patties.

ANGB Maple Patty 7 oz
ingredients
Carrot cake mix + ingredients needed to make mix
8 slices Jones Dairy Farm Dry Age Bacon 
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup powdered sugar 
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1-2 tablespoons butter
1 package Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Golden Brown Sausage Patties
 
DIRECTIONS
Bake cake mix according to package directions in standard-sized muffin tin. Set aside to cool. 

Cook bacon according to package directions and allow to cool. Crumble 2 full slices and reserve for garnish. Cut remaining pieces into thirds.  

Whip together cream cheese, heavy cream, vanilla, powdered sugar and maple syrup until fluffy; set aside.

Heat butter in skillet. Cut 6 muffins in half horizontally and place cut side down in skillet.  Toast until golden brown. Remove from pan. Remaining muffins can be used for another purpose.

Heat sausage patties according to package directions.

To assemble, spread browned muffin top and bottom with cream cheese mixture, top muffin bottom with 3 bacon pieces (equivalent of one full slice), sausage patty and muffin top.  

Place a dollop of cream cheese on top of each muffin and top with reserved bacon. Drizzle each slider with maple syrup, if desired.
