This delicious recipe is the perfect, easy-prep breakfast treat! Wrap your breakfast sausage links in 'pillows', bake and drizzle with maple icing for the breakfast everyone will be wanting seconds of.
This recipe is made with Jones Golden Brown® Maple Links.
1 (7 oz.) box Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Golden Brown Maple Links (10 links) 1 can (5 large) cinnamon rolls 1 Tablespoon real maple syrup 1/2 tart apple (Recommended Granny Smith) Colored sprinkles or edible decorations
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet by lining with parchment paper, or spraying with non-stick cooking spray.Unroll cinnamon rolls. Cut each in half lengthwise to make 10 strips of dough.
Peel and core apple. Slice into very thin half-moons.
Place one sausage link on top of one apple slice. Wrap the strip of cinnamon roll dough around both. Repeat with remaining 9 links.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until dough is golden brown. While “pillows” are baking, add maple syrup to icing that was included with cinnamon rolls.
When finished baking, remove from oven, drizzle with maple icing, top with sprinkles. Serve warm.
