One recipe, endless application possibilities! From an ice cream topping to a decadent addition to any charcuterie board, you can choose your own adventure.

This recipe is made with Jones Dry Aged Bacon.

ingredients
8 ounces Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon 
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/16 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons maple syrup
Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
 
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lay bacon out flat on parchment-lined baking sheet. Cook until the bacon is almost ready, 10-20 minutes based on thickness, then remove from the oven. 

Drain off excess bacon grease. Sprinkle brown sugar and cayenne pepper onto each slice to thoroughly coat. You may not need all the sugar mixture. Top with fresh black pepper to desired taste. Drizzle with maple syrup.

Place back into the oven and allow the sugar syrup mixture to melt, caramelize and coat the bacon.

Remove from the oven and take it off the tray and onto a cooling rack. 

Serve on ice cream or a charcuterie board.
