Jones Dairy Farm No Sugar Added Half Ham (about 1.5 lbs.)

1/2 cup

brown sugar

1 tablespoon

bourbon (substitute: apple juice)

1 teaspoon

whole grain mustard

pinch of ground cloves

whole cloves (optional)

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, bourbon (or apple juice), whole grain mustard, and a pinch of ground cloves.

  2. Add more bourbon (or apple juice) as needed until you have a thick glaze.

  3. Lightly score the fat on the ham and, if desired, stud with whole cloves.

  4. Place ham in a baking dish, fat side up, and bake for 30 minutes at 325°F.

  5. Brush glaze evenly over the ham and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 125°F.

  6. Rest briefly before slicing and serving.
