Maintenance Administrative Assistant I

Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for over 135 years, is seeking a Maintenance Administrative Assistant I. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that can demonstrate organization, a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.

Position Summary:

Act as Department Receptionist. Provide variety of clerical services including report generation, receiving, and records filing for the Maintenance Department and its various team projects. Maintain all department files and records.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving all parts
  • Accurately update parts inventories when parts are received
  • Add new parts into inventory in each storeroom
  • Remove obsolete parts or parts for equipment that have been removed from service
  • Perform and manage physical inventory, adjusting as needed
  • Assist with all facets of Maximo
  • Perform data entry accurately, timely and in full compliance
  • Act as Relief for other roles
  • Accept special projects and complete them promptly

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of administrative skills utilizing various computer programs.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • This position requires a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and good judgment.
  • Must be able to handle pressures associated with deadlines and regulatory accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills with high-level proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General parts knowledge about motors, gearboxes, electronics, belts, etc.
  • Experience with CMMS
