Maintenance Planner
Manufacturer of Premium Meat Products in Fort Atkinson
Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for over 135 years, is seeking a Maintenance Planner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact in the Food Manufacturing Industry who can demonstrate organization, a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
Position Description:
Serve as the main contact for managing and maintaining the CMMS. Develop SOPs and standards for preventative maintenance work, work orders, inventory management, and asset management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CMMS best practices, SOPs, and training.
- Planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
- Responsible for scheduling all work orders and preventative maintenance along with verifying parts inventory for the associated work.
- Develop and document preventative maintenance/predictive maintenance programs.
- Develop and maintain documented inventory levels, asset inventory, and preventative/predictive/Process Safety Management maintenance programs.
- Create reports to keep track of work order metrics and KPI dashboards.
- Maintain preventative/predictive/ Process Safety Management maintenance programs and procedures.
- Supervise and direct mechanics, as needed.
- Must be able to work 10-hour days and 6 to 7-day weeks as needed.
- Accepts special projects and completes them promptly.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 3 years of previous planning experience in a maintenance role.
Experience or Training: Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and good judgment. Must be able to meet deadlines and maintain regulatory accuracy.
Technology/Equipment: Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficient in CMMS programs.

Working Environment:
Much of the work for this position is performed in an office environment, however, there may be exposure to production areas requiring the use of PPE, uniform or protective clothing, and safety equipment.
