Jones Dairy Farm Golden Brown Turkey Sausage Links, thawed and crumbled

2-3 dried portions

Chinese style egg noodles

1 tablespoon

peanut butter

1 teaspoon

spicy chili paste or chili oil

1 tablespoon

soy sauce

1 tablespoon

toasted sesame oil

1/3 cup

pasta water

chopped cucumber, peanuts, and cilantro for garnish

Directions

  1. Crumble sausage links in a skillet over medium heat; sauté 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

  2. Add the egg noodles to boiling water and cook for 4 minutes, or according to package. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, strain and set aside.

  3. Whisk peanut butter, chili oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pasta water in a large bowl. The sauce may look thin but it thickens when tossed with the hot noodles.

  4. Pour 1/4 cup of sauce over the warm sausage; mix to combine. Add cooked noodles to remaining sauce, mixing well to combine.

  5. Top noodles with the sausage mixture, and thinly sliced cucumber, toasted peanuts, and plenty of cilantro.
