Regulatory Affairs Analyst

Position Summary:

The Regulatory Affairs Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of all aspects of the HACCP plans, including following proper protocols for HACCP changes, verification and validation activities.  Performs daily preshipment review of production paperwork to insure compliance of finished products. In addition this position will oversee and maintain the SSOP regulatory review and implementation of changes per proper protocols. This position will lead quarterly audits of prerequisite programs and reporting of deficiencies found. Lastly this position will obtain USDA label approvals, maintain label approval databases, and perform label reviews accurately. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of all aspects of the HACCP plans
  • SSOP regulatory review and maintaining
  • SSOP program changes and implementation and complying with proper protocols
  • Conducting quarterly audits of prerequisite programs and reporting of deficiencies found.
  • Maintain Nutritional Labeling Verification program
  • Perform USDA label approvals, maintain label approval databases, and perform label reviews accurately.
  • Conduct quarterly HACCP audits

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of USDA regulations and programs
  • Experience with HACCP, SSOP, and food labeling
  • Strong analytical and technical reasoning skills

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for auditing production and sanitation practices and procedures throughout the plant; collecting assigned chemical, microbiological and/or environmental samples; examining packaging and monitoring operating practices to ensure compliance with company and USDA standards. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Performs product checks to ensure specifications are met and issues assigned reports
  • Places and releases QA holds
  • Interacts with production employees, supervisory staff, government representatives and office/managerial staff professionally
  • Performs special projects as assigned
  • Supports QA Director & QA Supervisor as needed

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Related work experience in a food manufacturing environment or other QA setting
  • Familiarity with USDA and HACCP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Position Summary:

The Accountant position will be responsible for working closely with the Controller and CFO by preparing financial reports and reconciling bank and general ledger accounts.  In addition to the accounting department, this position will interact with manufacturing, IT, and other departments. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and publishes weekly and period financial statements
  • Assist with the preparation of management reports 
  • Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
  • Maintain fixed asset records

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Accounting

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for strengthening the food safety and quality systems throughout the plant.  The QA Manager will oversee the function and performance of the Plant QA and Regulatory Affairs staff.  They will prepare and lead all audit functions and provide recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.  Partnering with Manufacturing to ensure product compliance is an essential element of the position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for continued growth of internal quality systems
  • Lead and oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of the current audits and certifications (SQF, organic, USDA)
  • Responsible for annual HACCP assessments
  • Perform root cause analysis for customer complaints and production deviations
  • Identify and execute department cost savings
  • Works cooperatively with Manufacturing, Product Development, and QA Lab

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in a food or meat science
  • SQF and HACCP Certified
  • Supervisory experience required, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
