graham crackers, split in half into squares

4 large

marshmallows

4 squares

dark chocolate (or milk, if preferred)

Directions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat or on a grill-safe pan, cook bacon, turning frequently for 3 to 6 minutes, until desired crispness. Drain on paper towels.

  2. Using a skewer or roasting stick, roast marshmallows over a campfire, grill, or gas stove until golden brown and soft.

  3. Tear each slice of bacon in half. On one graham cracker square, layer one square of chocolate, two bacon strip halves, and a hot toasted marshmallow. Top with another graham cracker square and gently press together.

  4. Serve immediately, while the chocolate is melty and the marshmallow and bacon are warm.
