Ingredients

2 (7 oz.) boxes

All Natural Golden Brown® Breakfast Pork Sausage Patties

1 cup

salsa

1/4 cup

water

1 tablespoon

ground cumin

1 teaspoon

ground coriander

1 teaspoon

chili powder

optional garnishes: shredded cheese, chopped scallions, pico de gallo, chopped cilantro, avocado, sour cream, fried egg

Directions

  1. Thaw and finely chop sausage patties.

  2. Add chopped sausage, salsa, water and spices to medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

  3. Serve hot and garnish as desired.

    Serving suggestions: Use as filling for breakfast burrito, to top tostada shells, or over tortilla chips for breakfast nachos.

Easy to prepare and delicious

This was easy to prepare and delicious! The recipe calls for 12 patties which would be 2 boxes. Each box is 12 ounces. I was wondering if the recipe was supposed to be 12 ounces of patties,1 box or 12 patties. I used one box of the pork sausage patties and one box of turkey sausage patties which was a total of 10 because the turkey sausage has 4 per 12 ounce box.
