The ultimate deli sandwich. Serve full-size for lunch, or cut into smaller portions and secure with a toothpick for an easy appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 yellow onion, sliced 1/8” thick
- 1 sandwich-sized croissant
- 3 ounces Jones Dairy Farm Breakfast Ham Slices
- 2 ounces brie cheese, sliced 1/4” thick
- 4 slices Fuji apple, unpeeled, sliced 1/8” thick
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Heat butter and olive oil in medium skillet over medium heat. Add yellow onion and stir 10-15 minutes until translucent and caramelized. Deglaze pan with wine and stir onions for 30 seconds. Set aside.
Slice croissant in half and top with ham, Brie, caramelized onions and apple slices.
Place sandwich open on sheet pan or cookie tray and place into preheated oven until the Brie softens, about 4 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow 3 minutes to cool.
