Ingredients

Corn Dogs:

1 package

Jones Dairy Farm Golden Brown Pork Sausage Links, thawed

1 small box

cornbread mix

1 cup

self-rising flour

1/3 cup

milk

1

large egg

oil for frying

skewers for corn dog sticks

Maple Mustard Dipping Sauce:

2 tablespoons

Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons

maple syrup

1 teaspoon

sriracha (optional)

Directions

  1. Fill a heavy bottomed pan with 3 inches of oil and heat over medium heat.

  2. Insert a skewer into the end of each sausage.

  3. Whisk together cornbread mix, flour, milk and egg in a large bowl. Dunk each sausage skewer into the batter. Fry for 3-4 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

  4. While the corn dogs cool, whisk the mustard, maple syrup, and sriracha (if using) in a small bowl. Serve with warm corn dogs.
