Mark Tauscher and Jones Dairy Farm Launch New Video Series

Tausch Shares Stories of Farming, Football, Food and Family to Celebrate Wisconsin

If Jones Dairy Farm could dream up the perfect partner to help tell stories about life on the farm, football, food, and family, Mark Tauscher would be at the top of the list. A Wisconsin native, Badger football standout, and Green Bay Packers Hall-of-Famer, Tauscher embodies the same homegrown values that Jones has been celebrating for more than 135 years. Now, in a new partnership, Jones and Tauscher are teaming up to share those stories in a creative new video series.

Commonly known as “Tausch,” Tauscher spent eleven years in the NFL protecting Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. After retiring, he brought his love of the game to radio, first as a Packers pre- and post-game analyst and currently as lead analyst for Wisconsin football broadcasts and as co-host of ESPN Wisconsin’s Wilde & Tausch. But beyond football and broadcasting, Tauscher has a side many fans may not know – he grew up on a dairy farm in central Wisconsin near Auburndale.

Those early farm chores, whether clearing a manure pit or baling hay until sundown, shaped his work ethic, sense of teamwork, and resilience. They also helped prepare him for the challenges of competing at the highest levels of football.

That connection to farming makes Tauscher a natural partner for Jones Dairy Farm, a seventh-generation family-owned company that’s been rooted in Wisconsin since before it became a state. Founded in 1889, Jones is still making all natural breakfast sausage, dry aged bacon, and naturally smoked ham and Canadian bacon in Fort Atkinson, with the same dedication to quality and tradition.

The new video series brings together Tauscher’s personal stories with Jones’ deep Wisconsin heritage. Each month, viewers will see a different side of Tausch – whether he’s reminiscing about Packers memories with Philip Jones, sharing a meal or cooking in the kitchen with his kids, or dropping in on local sports teams. The conversations highlight how growing up on a farm, raising a family, and sharing meals connect in meaningful ways across generations.

Full episodes will air on the ESPN Madison and ESPN Milwaukee YouTube channels, with sneak peeks featured on ESPN Wisconsin’s social media and the Wilde & Tausch radio show.
