In a recent appearance on the Morning Blend television show, Chef Kate showcased the magic of this recipe. She created two delightful yet distinct variations: a classic cornbread rendition and a gluten-free cranberry apple twist. As you’ll see, the same base ingredients transform effortlessly to accommodate different bread choices, making this stuffing a boon for gluten-sensitive gatherings.

Stuffing Tips from Chef Kate:
- Never stuff the bird with stuffing because you can better control the cooking temperature of both by cooking them separately. Instead, stuff the cavity of the bird with herbs, celery, onion, and a quartered lemon. As those ingredients cook inside, they’ll impart wonderful flavors!
- Leftover stale bread works great for stuffing cubes.
- Keep it traditional or elevate it with diced apples, cranberries, pomegranate arils, and more.
- If using dried herbs instead of fresh, make sure to use only 1/3 the amount. Ratio of 3 to 1 fresh to dried.
- Garnish your stuffing with additional fresh herbs.
