-
Add broth; bring to a boil.
-
Turn off heat; add stuffing mix, stirring until bread cubes are evenly moistened. Transfer to a greased casserole dish.
-
Bake covered in a preheated 350˚F oven 30 minutes or until heated through. (For drier texture, uncover casserole during last 10 minutes of baking). Some of the stuffing may be used to stuff turkey. Stuff bird loosely right before baking.

Great flavor
This is the recipe that my mom made as we were growing up. I now use the same recipe and in-laws always request my stuffing. So easy to make and has a great flavor.
There is nothing like Jones sausage!
My grandparents lived in Fort Atkinson for 52 years. When we visited we ALWAYS had Jones sausage for breakfast. Thanksgiving dressing always was made with Jones sausage. Now I continue the same recipe with Jones but I have to order online because I can't always find it around me in the Chicago suburbs. There is nothing like Jones sausage!
A family favorite
A family favorite since I was a kid in the 60s. Now the next generation insists on it too! Good, and simple!
Great stuffing! Add water chestnuts for a little more crunch.
