Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon

16 small

Dried apricots

Fresh sage leaves

Gluten-free BBQ sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

  2. Line a baking sheet with foil.

  3. Cut bacon slices into thirds or quarters, depending on the size of your apricots. You want enough bacon to wrap completely around the apricot and overlap slightly.

  4. Once bacon is cut, place apricot on bacon slice, top with a sage leaf, and roll bacon around apricot, securing with a toothpick.

  5. Place on baking sheet and place in oven, baking for approximately 20 minutes, or until bacon is slightly crispy.

  6. If desired, remove bacon-wrapped apricots from oven after 15 minutes, brush with BBQ sauce, and return to oven for the last 5 minutes of cooking time.  Alternatively, you may leave them in the oven for 20 minutes without brushing, then remove from oven, only serving the BBQ sauce on the size for your guests to dip.

  7. When finished cooking, remove from oven, plate, and serve warm.
