The Two-Bite Appetizer That Disappears Before the Game Starts
These Bacon Wrapped BBQ Chicken Bites are the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer — featuring tender, BBQ-glazed chicken wrapped in savory Jones Dry Aged Bacon. Perfect for game day, they deliver bold flavor in a bite-sized package.
Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz.) package Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes (about 1”, or 16 cubes)
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
- sea salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
Preheat your oven to 400° F.
Cut bacon strips into thirds. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper, top with oven safe rack or parchment. Place bacon strips on prepared sheet. Bake about 5 minutes until halfway done, not crisp.
Place cubed chicken in small bowl and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Top with 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce. Toss to coat.
Wrap partially cooked bacon piece around each chicken cube, secure with toothpick. Place back on baking sheet/rack.
Bake for 10 minutes, brush chicken with remaining BBQ sauce. Continue to bake until chicken is no longer pink and bacon is crisp, about 6-8 minutes. Enjoy!
