Avocado Toast with Bacon
The Avocado Toast Worth Making at Home
This Avocado Toast with Bacon layers creamy sliced avocado and grated hard-boiled egg on toasted artisan sourdough, topped with crispy Jones Dry Aged Bacon, a drizzle of hot honey, and a pinch of flaky sea salt. Simple ingredients, smart technique, and genuinely better than anything you’d order out.
Ingredients
- 4 slices Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Cherrywood Smoked Extra Thick Bacon
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large avocados, sliced
- 2 tablespoons hot honey
- flaky sea salt
Directions
Heat oven to 400°F degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and add bacon slices. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels and chop into small pieces.
While the bacon cooks, bring a small pot of water to a boil. Gently lower the eggs into the boiling water with a slotted spoon. Boil for seven minutes. Remove and run under cold water until cool to the touch. Peel the eggs.
Layer half of an avocado on each slice of bread. Grate ½ a hard boiled egg over the avocado. Sprinkle with a piece of bacon. Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with sea salt. Serve!
