

Ham & White Bean Soup

The Soup That Tastes Like It Simmered All Day
This Ham & White Bean Soup highlights the rich, savory flavor of Jones Dairy Farm Uncured Heritage Ham, paired with tender vegetables and hearty beans in a comforting broth. It’s a wholesome, satisfying meal perfect for any season.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Jones Dairy Farm Heritage Uncured Half Ham, diced
- 2 tablespoons oil, divided
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/2 cup diced carrot
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 48 oz. carton chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 small yellow potatoes, diced
- 1 can white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup chopped kale
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, for topping
Directions
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large Dutch oven over medium high heat. Add ham and sauté for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan; set aside.
Heat remaining tablespoon of oil. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute or until fragrant. Add onion, carrot, celery, Italian seasoning and salt. Sauté until soft, 4-5 minutes.
Add broth, potatoes and beans. Bring to a simmer, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
Add ham and kale. Stir until kale wilts. Divide between bowls and serve with fresh parmesan cheese or your favorite bread.
