- 8 small waffles
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- optional toppings: slaw, sliced tomato, or mixed greens
Directions
Prepare waffles according to package instructions.
Prepare sausage patties according to package instructions.
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat with a small amount of butter or oil. Crack eggs into pan and cook until whites are fully set, about 3 to 4 minutes for sunny side up, or flip for over easy.
Arrange sandwiches. Layer chicken sausage patty, eggs, slice of cheese and any other desired toppings on one small waffle. Drizzle with maple syrup and top with additional waffle.
