

Breakfast Sausage Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Melty Cheddar, Dijon, and Jones Sausage on Texas Toast
Jones All Natural Fully Cooked Sausage Patties sandwiched between thick-cut Texas toast with a savory spread of cheddar, cream cheese, and Dijon mustard, then griddled until golden and melty. A simple, crowd-pleasing breakfast sandwich that comes together in minutes and works across any morning program.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 8 slices Texas toast or other thick-sliced bread
- 8 Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Fully Cooked Sausage Patties
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
Heat large skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
In bowl, mix together cheddar cheese, cream cheese and dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper.
Lay out 8 slices of Texas toast. Spread cheese mixture evenly over one side of each slice. Top 4 slices with 2 sausage patties each. Place remaining slices on top, cheese side down. Butter the outsides of each sandwich.
Place the other 4 slices on top, cheese side down. Butter the outsides of the bread and grill on the skillet until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted.
