This Cheesy Meatball Bombs recipe is the definition of crowd-pleasing comfort food. Juicy meatballs are wrapped in flaky biscuit dough with melted cheese, brushed with seasoned garlic butter, and baked until golden. Ingredients
- 16 Jones Dairy Farm No Antibiotic Ever Homestyle or Chicken Meatballs
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- Seasoned Garlic Butter:
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a skillet over medium heat, warm meatballs in 1 cup of marinara sauce stirring occasionally, about 7-8 minutes.
Prepare the seasoned garlic butter by combining all ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Cut each biscuit in half, and re-shape into a circle. Flatten with a rolling pin.
Add 1 tablespoon cheese to the center of each flattened biscuit, add the meatball with marinara sauce and wrap dough around the meatball, securing with a toothpick.
Spray muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray. Add bombs to the pan and brush the tops of each with the prepared seasoned garlic butter.
Bake for 15-17 minutes, until tops are golden brown.
Remove from oven, allow to cool. Remove toothpicks.
Serve with extra sauce for dipping.
