

Ham and Cheese Calzone

Three Ingredients, Two Hours, Zero Stress
This Ham and Cheese Calzone recipe by Molly Yeh is as simple as it gets — just three ingredients. Frozen bread dough is defrosted and rolled out, then layered with sliced Jones Dairy Farm Breakfast Ham and your choice of melty cheese, rolled up jelly-roll style, and baked until golden. Most of the 2-hour total time is hands-off rising time, making this an easy ham calzone recipe that fits any weeknight schedule.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf frozen bread dough
- 1 (6.4 oz.) package Jones Dairy Farm Breakfast Ham Slices
Directions
Defrost bread dough in large bowl, covered with a towel, until dough rises. Punch down; let rise for another hour.
Preheat oven 350° F.
Roll out dough on floured surface until it forms a rectangle.
Layer ham and cheese.
Roll up jelly-roll style. Pinch ends and top to seal. Place in ungreased jelly-roll pan.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until lightly browned and dough is cooked through. Cool slightly and slice.
