Grilled Sausage and Cheese English Muffin Sandwich
The Breakfast Sandwich That’s Better When You Make It on the Grill
Four ingredients, one grill, 20 minutes. Jones Golden Brown All Natural Chicken Sausage patties go straight on the grate to warm through, topped with pepper jack cheese to melt. Butter-toasted English muffins come off with just enough char to hold their own. Simple enough for a camping trip, satisfying enough for a slow Sunday morning at home.
Ingredients
- 4 English muffins
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 Jones Dairy Farm Golden Brown All Natural Chicken Sausage Patties
Directions
Preheat grill to medium heat.
Open English muffins and spread half a tablespoon butter on inside of each muffin, set aside.
Add sausage patties to the grill and cook until warmed through.
Add English muffins to grill to toast and lightly brown.
While muffins are toasting, add cheese to sausage to melt.
Once the cheese is melted add a cheese-covered sausage patty to a browned English muffin. Top with ketchup if desired.
