Jack-o’-Lantern Pizza Hand Pies
Easy Halloween Pizza Hand Pies with Canadian Bacon and Sausage
Turn refrigerated pie crust into pumpkin-shaped pizza hand pies filled with sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, and Jones Dairy Farm Canadian Bacon, pork sausage, or a bit of both. Cut a jack-o’-lantern face in the top, seal the edges, and bake until golden. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
Ingredients
- 1 box refrigerated pie crust (2 crusts)
- 1 cup pizza sauce, divided (1/2 cup for filling, 1/2 cup for dipping)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 slices Jones Dairy Farm Canadian Bacon, chopped
- 3 Jones Dairy Farm Golden Brown All Natural Pork Sausage Links, sliced into 1/2 in rounds
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water, for egg wash
- 1 teaspoon pizza seasoning (optional)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the pie crusts. Use a pumpkin-shaped cutter to cut 12 pieces total, rerolling scraps as needed.
On 6 of the pieces, cut out jack-o’-lantern faces (two triangle eyes and a mouth). These are your tops.
On the 6 solid pieces, spread about 1 tablespoon pizza sauce, leaving a ½-inch border. Top each with 2 tablespoons mozzarella, 3 pepperoni slices, and either chopped Canadian Bacon or 3 to 4 sausage rounds. Fill 3 pies with each meat.
Place a face-cut piece over each filled bottom. Press the edges together and seal with a fork.
Whisk the egg and water. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with pizza seasoning, if using.
Transfer to the baking sheet and bake for 16 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool for 5 minutes. Serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
