

Broccoli Bacon Salad

The Bacon Salad That Holds Up at a Picnic or Potluck
This Broccoli Bacon Salad is a flavorful blend of crisp broccoli, sweet red grapes, and crunchy pecans, all tossed in a tangy tahini dressing. Enhanced with the smoky richness of Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon, this salad is perfect for picnics, potlucks, or as a hearty side dish.
Ingredients
- 10 cups broccoli
- 1 (12 oz.) package Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon
- 1 orange bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/4 cup red onions, chopped finely
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Chop broccoli in small pieces, add to colander. Run hot water over broccoli. Allow to drain.
Prepare salad dressing. Add tahini, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and salt and pepper to jar, shake well.
Take drained broccoli, add to large serving bowl, toss with dressing. Refrigerate the until ready to serve.
Slice bacon in small pieces, cook to package directions. Drain on paper towel. When ready to serve, top salad with all ingredients, toss.
If preparing salad in advance: top dressed broccoli with bell peppers and grapes. Store bacon, red onion, and pecans separately. Add to the salad before serving.
