Easy Weeknight Meal
Peanut Noodles with Turkey Sausage is a quick, flavor-packed dish featuring Jones Dairy Farm Golden Brown Turkey Sausage Links, creamy peanut sauce, and bold chili heat. Topped with crisp cucumber, peanuts, and cilantro, it’s a deliciously satisfying meal that comes together in minutes.
Ingredients
- 6 Jones Dairy Farm Golden Brown Turkey Sausage Links, thawed and crumbled
- 2-3 dried portions Chinese style egg noodles
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/3 cup pasta water
- chopped cucumber, peanuts, and cilantro for garnish
Directions
Crumble sausage links in a skillet over medium heat; sauté 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Add the egg noodles to boiling water and cook for 4 minutes, or according to package. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, strain and set aside.
Whisk peanut butter, chili oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pasta water in a large bowl. The sauce may look thin but it thickens when tossed with the hot noodles.
Pour 1/4 cup of sauce over the warm sausage; mix to combine. Add cooked noodles to remaining sauce, mixing well to combine.
Top noodles with the sausage mixture, and thinly sliced cucumber, toasted peanuts, and plenty of cilantro.
