Ingredients
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 12 Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Little Pork Sausage Links
- 1 large egg
Directions
Heat oven to 350°F.
Mix flour, yogurt, maple syrup and baking powder in a large bowl until a rough dough forms. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead on a floured surface until the dough is no longer sticky. Set the dough aside to rest while you prepare the sausages.
Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat with a few tablespoons of water for 4 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove the sausages from the pan and allow them to cool slightly. The sausages will finish cooking in the oven.
Divide dough into 12 pieces and roll into long thin tubes. Wrap the tubes around the sausages to look like a mummy.
Place the dough wrapped sausages on a baking sheet. Whisk an egg and brush the egg wash over the dough.
Cook the sausages in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove and allow them to cool slightly before enjoying!
Optional: add some festive candy eyes!
