Sausage Dinner Ideas
This easy soup combines savory Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Chicken Sausage with tender vegetables, spinach, and gluten free pasta for a hearty and flavorful meal that’s ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb. Jones Dairy Farm No Antibiotics Ever Chicken Sausage Links, thawed and sliced
- 2 stalks of celery, chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 cups spinach
- 3/4 cup small shaped gluten free pasta, like stelline or pastina
- salt and pepper to taste
- grated Pecorino cheese, for garnish (optional)
Directions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add sausage and sauté for 5 minutes, breaking apart the sausage until it is the texture your prefer.
Add celery, carrots, onion and garlic; stir to combine. Add stock, water and garlic powder. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until veggies are tender.
Stir in the pasta and cook for 8-10 more minutes. Remove from heat; stir in spinach to wilt. Season to taste.
Divide between bowls and garnish with cheese, if desired. Enjoy!
