

Grilled Hawaiian Ham Sandwiches
The Sandwich That Proves Ham and Pineapple Belong Together
Grilled Hawaiian Ham Sandwiches combine smoky Jones Dairy Farm Breakfast Ham Slices with sweet grilled pineapple, tangy red onion, and creamy mozzarella. Finished with a touch of barbecue sauce, these sandwiches offer a delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 (6.4 oz.) package Jones Dairy Farm Breakfast Ham Slices
- 4 slices fresh pineapple, sliced about 1/2 inch thick
- 1/2 medium red onion, sliced
- 8 slices bread
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
Directions
Heat grill or grill pan to medium heat. Grill pineapple and onions until charred and soft. Remove from heat.
Heat skillet or griddle over medium heat. Butter outsides of bread slices. Spread about 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce on inside of each slice of bread. On 4 bread slices, layer 1 ounce of cheese, 1 slice of pineapple, 1/4 of onions and 1/4 of ham. Top with remaining bread slices, barbecue sauce side down.
Grill sandwiches in skillet until outsides are golden brown and cheese has melted.
