| 1 package (16 oz.) | Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Pork Sausage Roll, crumbled and cooked |
| 1 tablespoon | black pepper |
| 1 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | maple syrup |
| 1/8 teaspoon | cayenne pepper |
| 8 oz. | refrigerated dough sheet |
| 4 large | eggs, scrambled |
| 1 cup | cheddar cheese, shredded |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh chives, finely chopped |

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes or until pale golden brown. Slowly whisk in milk and half and half. Bring to a simmer and cook until the gravy thickens or coats the back of the spoon.

Reduce heat to low and stir in 3/4 of the ground sausage, black pepper, salt, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. Taste and season as needed. Be sure to stir occasionally so the bottom doesn’t burn while you prepare the breakfast rolls. If it starts to get too thick, stir in a splash of milk.

Heat oven to 375°F.

Layer scrambled eggs, cheese, remaining sausage, and chives onto dough sheet. Starting on long side, roll dough into a tight pinwheel. Cut log into 8 even sections.

Place rolls cut side up in an 8×8-inch greased baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with sausage gravy and extra chives.
