Orange Honey Glazed Ham
Recipe by The Slow Roasted Italian.
Dinner Ideas for Ham
Orange Honey Glazed Ham starts with a Jones Dairy Farm Old Fashioned Fully Cooked Ham scored in a diamond pattern and studded with whole cloves, then basted with a warm glaze of orange marmalade, brown sugar, honey, and Dijon mustard throughout roasting. The result is a deeply caramelized, citrus-kissed holiday ham that serves 20 and looks as impressive as it tastes. Also works with Jones Heritage Uncured Half Ham using the same glaze with a shorter cook time.
Ingredients
- 1 Jones Dairy Farm Old Fashioned Fully Cooked Ham
- 1 cup orange marmalade
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- whole cloves
Directions
Preheat oven to 325˚F. Remove ham from all packaging. Place ham on large cutting board, fat side up. Score ham in diamond pattern with 1/4-inch deep cuts. Place one whole clove in center of each diamond.
Place ham in large roasting pan, scored side up. Cover with aluminum foil. Cook according to package directions, until internal temperature reaches 125˚F, about 12-15 minutes per pound.
Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl and set near the stove so it gets nice and warm.
Half way through cooking time, remove aluminum foil and baste ham with glaze. Repeat every 20-30 minutes until ham is cooked through. The more you glaze the prettier the ham will be.
Remove ham from oven, let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Serve hot or cold.
*If using our Boneless Uncured Ham, pour the entire glaze recipe on the ham, fat side up, and cover loosely with foil. Heat for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour or until internal temperature is 125 degrees. Uncover the last 10 minutes to allow the glaze to brown.
